BHAKTAPUR, Oct 1: Naya Shakti Party Nepal's Coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai today charged Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal of sealing an anti-nationalist agreement during the state visit to India.

At a greetings exchange programme and tea reception organized by the Naya Shakti Party Nepal's District Council, Bhaktapur, Bhattarai, who is a former PM, termed the 25-point agreement with India as being opposed to country's interest.

The former PM also added that he spent a sleepless night when the agreement was reached with India. "I could not sleep the whole night when the PM made public the 25-point agreement reached during his visit to India, this anti-nationalist agreement the PM has reached with India is tormenting me," he shared.

The leader also noted that the other political parties had failed to oppose the agreement with India. Dr Bhattarai was of the opinion that points 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 20 are against national interest. He also accused PM Dahal of agreeing to 'Bhutanize' Nepal.

At the programme, Dr Bhattarai maintained that the government with 6 to 9 months' term was pushing the country into a serious crisis and stressed on the urgency for a stable government in the country.
