KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Eminent cardiologist Dr Bhagawan Koirala has been appointed as the chairperson of the Nepal Medical Council, the sole government entity that tests the competence of MBBS graduates.
A cabinet meeting held at the PM's official residence in the capital on Sunday took a decision to this effect earlier today. However, the government has yet to make an official announcement in this connection.
