KATHMANDNU, April 27: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Local Development Kamal Thapa and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli held a meeting today to discuss the country's contemporary issues.
During the meeting that took place at the CPN (UML)'s parliamentary party office, Singha Durbar, the two touched on the issues relating to the upcoming local-level election, discontents of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) and restructuring of local bodies.
Talking to media persons following the meeting, Minister Thapa said he and the main opposition chairman exchanged views on how to take the UDMF, now in a form of the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal, on board while going for the local-level election and find a solution to the disputes hovering the demarcation issues.
He told the CPN (UML) was positive to seek solutions to all problems existing in the country. RSS
