KATHMANDU, April 13: All three children who were injured in the community forest fire in Tripurasundari Municipality 4 of Dolpa, a Himalayan district, have died.
Chief District Officer Tulsi Prasad Dahal confirmed that all three children involved in the fire incident last Thursday passed away. He mentioned that 10-year-old Sulas Buda died on Friday during treatment at District Hospital Dolpa, while the other two passed away while undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.

Dahal explained that one child died during the night and another succumbed to the burn injuries in the morning. The District Police Office Dolpa reported the deaths of 12-year-old Bivash Buda and 13-year-old Samant Buda in Kathmandu.
The three children, who had gone to pick mushrooms in a forest near the village, suffered severe injuries in the fire. Ranjit Buda, Ward Chairman of Ward No. 4, expressed that despite extensive efforts to save them, their lives couldn't be saved. He mentioned that the entire village is in mourning after losing three children in the fire, two of whom were from the same household.
Tripurasundari Municipality arranged for a helicopter to transport the injured children to Kathmandu for treatment.
Additionally, three out of the four soldiers injured while battling a fire in the Mashta Community Forest in Thuli Bheri Municipality 4 in Dolpa have also passed away, as reported on Tuesday.
