KATHMANDU, July 13: The doctors associated with the National Resident Doctors' Association (NRDA) have tied black arm band in their arms to express solidarity with Dr Govinda KC who is staging fast-unto-death yet again for four days.




This move is also a protest against the apathy of the government towards the protest staged by Dr KC against the aberrations and anomalies in the medical education system in the country, according to the press statement released by Association's President Dr Leision Maharjan and Secretary Dr Sachit Sharma.

Dr KC has been staging eight round of hunger-strike since last Sunday demanding reforms in the medical sector and medical education sector.




The Human Rights Organization of Nepal and the National Doctors' Association have been lending support to Dr KC's protest stating that the demands put by him are genuine. RSS
