KATHMANDU, March 9:The Department of Mines and Geology (DMG) is to undertake a geological study in different parts of the country.
The Department has allocated a budget of Rs 39 million to carry out works relating geological mapping and mineral exploration.The survey will be conducted in different parts of the country under various packages. The districts covered by the project are Accham, Bajhang, Kalikot, Bajura Rukum, Rolpa, Pyuthan, Salyan, Baitadi, Dailekh, Darchula, Nuwakot, Dhading and Gorkha.
The selection of expressions of interest (EoI) for geological mapping has been already done and the Department is sending employees to the sites chosen for the implementation of project soon, according to Department information officer Krishnadev Jha. RSS
