Discussion of Maoist factions with civil leaders and intellectuals postponed

KATHMANDU, March 14: Maoist factions’ discussions with civic leaders and intellectuals scheduled to be held today has been postponed. Sriram Dhakal, chief secretary of the Central Office of the Maoist Center said that the discussion program was postponed due to the inability to manage the venue.

A meeting of the Maoist parties held on March 10 had decided to hold a joint press conference and interact with civil society leaders and intellectuals about the detailed peace agreement. Accordingly, a joint press conference was held on March 12, and there was a program to interact with civic leaders today.
