Dharan celebrates World Music Day

Dharan Music Academy organized a music program to mark the World Music Day on June 21st in Bhanu Chowk, Dharan. The academy has been continuously conducting various programs to commemorate World Music Day every year. This year, a number of artists – new and old – shared the stage with a vision of promoting the musical talents of the newer generations.

The academy has been continuously conducting various programs to commemorate World Music Day every year. This year, a number of artists – new and old – shared the stage with a vision of promoting the musical talents of the newer generations.

The program was inaugurated by the Deputy Mayor of Dharan Sub Metropolitan City, Manju Bhandari Subedi. Seasoned musical icons Prem Dhoj Pradhan and Prism Band’s Subarna Limbu were also felicitated on the same occasion.  


The event saw an assortment of musical performances like ‘Maiti Ghar’, ‘Kamar Mathi Patuki’, ‘Tirriri’ and so on.
