DHARAN, Sept 3. Two men from Saptari succumbed to novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Thursday.
The duo, aged 55 and 50, who earlier had tested positive for the virus breathed their last while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS).
The 55-year-old man from Rajbiraj Municiaplity-7 passed away at 1:15 PM today. He was admitted to BPKIHS 13 days ago after being referred from Chhinnamasta Hospital, Saptari and tested positive for COVID three days later. The COVID-19 patient was also suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes.
The second COVID-19 patient was also from Rajbiraj Municipality-7. He passed away at 2:02 PM while undergoing treatment at BPKIHS. The man was brought to the hospital at 1:20PM. He was also a diabetes patient.
