KATHMANDU, April 25: Nepali Hindus are celebrating Matatirtha Aunsi (Mothers' Day) on Wednesday. Devotees have thronged at the Matatirtha pond at Chandragiri Municipality to mark the day.

Especially people whose mothers have passed away visit the holy place to take bath in the pond, and make offerings and homage to the departed mothers.
