CHITWAN, June 21: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has stressed the need for promoting the tourism sector for the development of the whole country.
"So, all should come together for the development of religious tourism," the Vice President said while addressing a welcome program organized today morning in Galeshwor Ashram.
He said he would suggest that the government conserves the Sanatan oriental philosophy and civilization, and prioritizes the development of Devghat area.
He also pledged his commitments to do his best in developing the area. On the occasion, the Vice President visited Harihar Sanyas Ashram, Paramananda Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Beni Sangam, Aghor Ashram, Basistha Cave, Sita Cave, Galeshwor Ashram, Mahesh Sanyas Ashram and worshipped at Siddheshwor Shivalaya Temple and Bidheshwor Temple.
Chairperson of the Devghat Area Development Committee Shiva Poudel apprised the Vice President of the situation of the Devghat area.
Vice President Pun, who reached Chitwan district on Thursday to address a special program held on the occasion of the Fifth International Yoga Day, and is scheduled to return to Kathmandu, the central capital, today by itself.
