BHAKTAPUR, Nov 7: The Model Settlement Society based at Gathaghar of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality is set to use the money collected during Deusi-Bhailo program for construction of a community building. 

The Society collected Rs 172,000 and will spend it for construction of a building, Committee Coordinator, Gorakh Singh KC said. 

Society's Chairman, Bhuvan Kumar Chhetri, said Rs 3 million collected during the past years by playing Deusi – Bhailo had been used for construction of the Chandra Mauleshwor Mahadev temple and added the money collected now will be used for the assembly hall of a four storey community building. 

With the money raised from Deusi and other donations, the society has already spent Rs 20 million for road construction, drainage, street lamps, drinking water, sanitation, security and siren system at the model settlement, Society's Treasurer, Lalit Prasad Shrestha shared. RSS
