KATHMANDU, Oct 22: Prime Minister and President of Nepali Congress (NC) Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that it is natural for the ruling five parties to form an electoral alliance to safeguard the constitution.
Addressing a program held in Biratnagar, Prime Minister Deuba questioned Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli about UML raising questions about the five-party alliance. “Oli has also made an alliance. If he can make an alliance, why can’t we do that?” he asked.
Deuba also asked cadres not to have any doubts regarding the alliance and urged them to vote for the political parties in the alliance. “The alliance must win under any circumstances," he said.
PM Deuba also said that the late Girija Prasad Koirala also voted for the hammer and sickle when the peace agreement was signed.
