Deuba greeted with 14-kg garland

BIRATNAGAR, Dec 2: Leaders and cadres of the Nepali Congress, Morang District Chapter have greeted their party President Sher Bahadur Deuba with a garland of 14 kilograms on Friday.

The NC leaders including Morang District President of the Nepali Congress Dig Bahadur Limbu and Secretary Nagesh Koirala greeted him with the garland and urged him to make Biratnagar the headquarters of Province 1 which comprises 14 districts.

 Talking to journalists at Biratnagar airport, President Deuba claimed that main opposition party CPN-UML and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) will vote in favor of the constitution amendment bill registered in Parliament.
