One dies of dengue in Jhapa

DAMAK, June 30: A 14-year-old boy died of dengue in Jhapa on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Rijan Rai.

DAMAK, June 30: A 14-year-old boy died of dengue in Jhapa on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Rijan Rai.


Rai had been suffering from the disease for the past one week. His family members rushed him to BPKIHS, Dharan as his health condition deteriorated on Wednesday. Rai admitted to the hospital but the doctors could not treat him because the ICU facility was fully occupied.

Rai was brought back to home without conducting treatment at the BPKIS. Rai breathed his last on the way to Biratnagar amid his worsening health condition, according to family members.
