KATHMANDU, March 5: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Pradeep Poudel has said that the decisions made by the party at the central level will not help to form an alliance at the local levels.  

Speaking at a program organized on the occasion of 11th Memorial Day of NC leader and former Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Bhattarai in Kathmandu on Saturday, leader Poudel said that the decision made at the central level cannot help to form an alliance at the local level. He, however, said that the local level can form an alliance in the upcoming election as per its need. 

On the occasion, Poudel also stressed the need to stop corruption to make the functioning of local level effective. He asserted that the NC should move ahead with the agenda of abolishing corruption in the upcoming election. “The local level has taken development to the villages. Along with development, corruption is also on the rise. The Congress should stop it," he said.
