Decision on MCC should be taken on basis of national consensus: Chairman Yadav

KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Chairman of the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, Upendra Yadav has said that the MCC should be taken forward in a manner that is conducive in the interest of the nation and through consensus among the major political parties.

Speaking at a press conference organized by the party's Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta West) chapter, he said, "The party will take a decision on MCC when the time comes. We have to move forward on the basis of consensus on this issue.”

Chairman Yadav stressed the need for forming the provinces as recommended by the State Restructuring Commission and also to change the structure of the local units.
