The International Anti-Corruption Day is being observed in Nepal by organizing various programs on Sunday. The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) and Transparency International Nepal chapter are organizing separate functions today in the capital to observe the day.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called on civil society to minutely observe the government's resolution against corruption. Receiving a memorandum submitted on behalf of the United Civil Society against Corruption seeking the full implementation of the government’s zero-tolerance policy against corruption at the Singha Durbar-based Prime Minister's office, PM Oli reiterated the commitments against corruption from the individual and official levels.
