SINDHUPALCHOWK, July 29: Two females of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-4, Fulpingkatti Village who had gone missing in the landslide a week ago, were found dead on Wednesday.

With the recovery of two more dead bodies, a total of five female members of a family have died as a result of the landslide in the area.

According to Information Officer of Sindhupalchowk District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Madav Prasad Kafle, dead bodies of 84 years Sombuti Sherpa and her 48-year old daughter Semsang Sherpa were recovered on Wednesday. 

The search team of security personnel had expedited the search operation to find the missing persons since the beginning of the incident.

However, the whereabout of 20 other persons, who went missing in the landslide that hit Jambu and Bhulkutte is still unknown.
