BUTWAL (REPUBLICA):  Province 5 Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel on Friday appointed Thakur DC as the chief attorney of the province. Chief Judge of Tulsipur High Court Nahakul Subedi administered oath of office and secrecy to DC as chief legal advisor to the chief minister.   Senior advocate DC, a local of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City, is a central committee member of the Progressive and Professional Lawyers' Association Nepal. 

Earlier, he had worked as the head of Nepal Bar Association.  CM Pokharel, Governor Umakant Jha, Speaker Purna Bahadur Gharti, members of the provincial assembly, principal secretary Shankar Pathak and security chiefs of the province were present during the oath taking ceremony.
