RUPANDEHI, Feb 23: Ten-man Cameroon’s Dauphins Football Club has advanced into the final of the ongoing 21st Tilottama Gold Cup with a 2-0 win over the host Rupandehi XI in Butwal on Friday.
In the first semifinal match played at the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Academy’s sports ground in Devinagar, a brace from Dider Tina either side of the half helped the Cameroonian club enter yet another final having already won the Manakamana Cable Car Pokhara Cup and the Budha Subba Gold Cup.

Tina scored the first goal of the game in the second minute from the spot, while he ended Rupandehi’s hopes of winning scoring in the 84th minute to complete his brace.
Dauphins’ Yannick was shown the direct red card in the 68th minute for a foul on a Rupandehi player. Despite going down to 10 players, Dauphins added its second goal of the game and got a result to get into the final of the tournament.
Rupandehi’s Manoj Shrestha was named the man of the match and was rewarded with Rs 10,000.
The departmental team Nepal Police Club will take on Chyasal Youth Club in the second semifinal match on Saturday.
