As per the information received so far, the Lasku River has washed away a school, 11 houses, two bridges and some vehicles in the village. Due to incessant rain at night, a landslide occurred in Salla village of Naugad Rural Municipality-2 of the district and caused great damage to the local settlements.

As Salla village is located at a distance of about 3 hours from the police station the extent of the damage is not available yet. "Since Salla village is far from the police station, no details have been received," police Inspector Gahamagar said, "A police team has been sent to the scene for rescue and collection of details."
