KATHMANDU, June 15: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday increased marginally by 0.47 points to close at 2,655.85 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,655.38 points, rose to the day’s high at 2,667.68 points in the first 51 minutes before it reached the day’s low at 2,653.94 points in another hour. The index went into a series of fluctuations and recovered around two points in the remaining period before the market closed for the day.

Five out of 13 groups succeeded to gain, while manufacturing and processing surged with notable 104.25 points. Of the eight losers, life insurance shed 70.58 points, the largest of all.
The sensitive index which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies declined marginally by 0.67 points. The daily turnover amount declined to Rs 11.44 billion from Rs 12.51 billion on Thursday, the last trading day of the last week.
Among the individual companies, 90 were gainers while 157 were the losers. Sanima Mai Hydropower had the biggest turnover of its shares worth Rs 890.10 billion.
Green Development Bank gained the highest of 10 percent of its market value. With a decline of 4.43 percentage points, Nepal Hydro Developers Ltd was recorded as the topmost loser.
