"I request him to pull out of the race before going for tenth round of voting on Wednesday. [break]Only then a consensus can be achieved," Dahal told reporters upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport from Malaysia.
He claimed that Paudel´s insistence on going for more rounds of voting would only tarnish the country´s image. Even if Paudel was adamant, the voting would once again end in fiasco since a majority of parliamentarians will boycott it.
Dahal said he took part in Asia Pacific Exchange and Cooperation meet while in Malaysia. Representatives from China, Thailand, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Cambodia and Taiwan, among others, also attended the meet, he said, adding, "They are interested in helping Nepal in peace and development programs."
