KATHMANDU, Dec 24: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has presented his political report prepared for the party’s forthcoming first National Conference before the party’s Standing Committee today.
According to party Spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Chairman Dahal briefly cited the document in the meeting that took place at the party’s central office in Paris Danda.
The second session of the meeting is scheduled to further hold discussion on the report. The party will be holding its National Conference at Nepal Academy in Kathmandu from December 26.
The party said it is determined to come up with new revolutionary thoughts and further consolidate the party through the National Conference.
The Standing Committee meeting on Friday also dealt with matters related to the entry of dissenting factions from the CPN (Masal) and CPN to the CPN (Maoist Centre).
