KATHMANDU, July 30: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal held discussions on the latest political development at former's official residence, Baluwatar on Saturday.
On the occasion, Dahal had asked support from PM Oli regarding the formation of a consensus government. Dahal met Prime Minister Oli in the course of forming a new government as the deadline given by the President for the formation of a consensus government is expiring tomorrow.
PM Oli clarified that there was a less chance of his party, CPN-UML, joining the new government, adding that there were however chances of collaboration in some national agendas, a press statement released by Dahal's secretariat said.

The press statement further states that the meeting between the two leaders ended with an agreement to lessen the widening distance between the two parties after the Maoist Center withdrew its support given to the Oli-led government and forwarding the cooperation in national agendas. RSS
