BHAKTAPUR, Jan 26: The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has put off all the scheduled examinations under its affiliated institutions citing the spread of coronavirus infection.
Issuing a notice on Tuesday, the Office of Controller of the Examinations of CTEVT said the examinations were postponed keeping in view of COVID-19.
Deputy Controller of CTEVT Examinations Dil Bahadur Ghimire said that a meeting of the CTEVT held on Tuesday decided to postpone all the examinations until further notice.
The CTEVT was preparing to hold the entrance examination of bio-medical on January 29 and pre-diploma on February 5.
Likewise, the CTEVT was also preparing to conduct regular and supplementary examinations of engineering, health, agriculture and different other streams from February 10.
Ghimire said that a new schedule would be released seven to ten days immediately after the situation returns to normalcy.
