KATHMANDU, August 28: The newly-formed CPN (Unified Socialist) has formed a five member Standing Committee.
The Standing Committee comprises Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal, Mukunda Neupane, Beduram Bhusal and Pramesh Hamal.
The party is preparing to soon convene a national meeting and pick other Standing Committee and Politburo members and its office bearers.
A meeting of the party’s Standing Committee on Friday also decided to join the government-led by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. However, the Party is yet to select ministerial candidates of the coalition government.
