KATHMANDU, Oct 3: The ongoing statute convention of the main opposition party, CPN-UML, is set to conclude today. The party will endorse the political report, organizational report and statute amendment proposal presented by Chairman KP Sharma Oli, General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel and Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Prasad Poudel.
The three reports were presented at the party’s convention on Friday. Earlier, group discussions were held on the three reports after which the group leaders presented their queries on the reports on Saturday.
CPN-UML Chairman Oli will respond to the queries regarding the political report, General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel will respond to the questions on the organizational report and Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Prasad Poudel will answer the queries related to the statute amendment proposal, today. The three reports will be endorsed following the response of the senior leaders of the party.

The convention will also elect the Central Election Commission before coming to a close later today.
The statute convention began on Friday and is being held at the Godawari Sunrise Convention Center in Lalitpur.
