KATHMANDU, Dec 4: Bal Krishna Siwakoti of CPN (UML) has maintained his lead in the vote count for a seat in the House of Representatives in Dolakha. He has received 19,744 votes while his nearest rival Ganga Karki of CPM (Maoist Centre) is trailing behind with 18,385 votes.
Chief Electoral Officer Dilli Ratna Shrestha informed Republica that 44,941 votes have been counted so far.
So far, 42,154 votes have been counted in the Dolakha B as UML's Bharat KC leads the vote count with 19,444 votes, while NC’s Barma Lama is second with 17,595 votes.
