KATHMANDU, August 23: CPN-UML leaders who did not support Madhav Nepal in forming the new party have reached Balkot to hold ‘decisive’ talks with party Chairperson KP Sharma Oli.

Leaders including Bhim Rawal, Yuvraj Gyawali, Surendra Pandey, Gokarna Bista, Bhim Acharya and Raghu Pant have reached Oli's residence in Balkot for talks. They have not openly shown their inclination to either of the two rival faction leaders --KP Sharma Oli  and Madhav Nepal-- within the party.

Amid bitter intra-party row, senior leader Nepal has already filed an application at the Election Commission to form the CPN (Unified Socialist) party. Leaders, who did not support Nepal have given Oli time till Tuesday to announce the implementation of the 10-point agreement. They have demanded the withdrawal of the action taken against 14 lawmakers, including Nepal, while urging Nepal to back down from his decision to form a new party.
