KATHMANDU, June 13: The main opposition party CPN-UML has finalized its candidates in Province 5 for the upcoming local polls scheduled for June 28.

Issuing a press statement on Tuesday, the party said that it has finalized candidates in all local units of 12 districts.

The party finalized Shivaraj Subedi as mayoral candidate and Goma Acharya as deputy mayoral candidate of Butwal Sub-Metpolitan City; Ganashyam Pandey as mayoral candidate and Maya Acharya as deputy mayoral candidate of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City; Samshuddin Siddqui as mayoral candidate and Shantidevi Dhakal as deputy mayoral candidate of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City; and Narulal Chaudhary as mayoral candidate and Sita Neupane as deputy mayoral candidate of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City.
