KATHMANDU, March 10: After coronavirus broke out in Wuhan city of China in December last year, it has now spread to more than 115 countries infecting 126,519 persons and claiming the lives of 4,637 as of Thursday afternoon.

Although no death has been reported so far in Nepal, people have been consistently under psychological trauma as it originated in the northern neighbour China and even the southern neighbour India also reported 73 cases of this novel virus.

Due to the lack of reliable information and effective awareness campaign on this viral outbreak, people have come under unnecessary fear.

Amid misconceptions among the public regarding this deadly virus, Republica's Prashanta Lamichhane and Kamal Subedi talked to Senior Consultant Physician Dr Khem Raj Bhusal on various aspects of coronavirus ranging from its infection modality to general symptoms to precautionary measures to facts and myths.
