Court issues arrest warrant against Chabi Ojha and Shilpa Pokhrel

Kathmandu District Court has issued an arrest warrant against producer Chabi Ojha and actress Shilpa Pokhrel.

 The court issued the warrant against the two on Wednesday after Chhabi was charged of polygamy.

Hema Ojha, film maker Chhabi Ojha’s first wife lodged a case of polygamy against the latter at Metropolitan Police Circle, Gaushala on Sunday. In the complaint letter, she requested to take action against both Ojha and Shilpa Pokhrel for polygamy.

A mother of two sons, Hema stated that she got married to Chhabi in 1984 and her relation with the filmmaker was normal. She further stated that she decided to file a case on the basis of marriage certificate of Ojha and Pokhrel. Actress Pokhrel had filed a case of domestic violence against Chhabi. However, later the case was settled in their understanding. They are now preparing to part ways.
