ILAM, Feb 9: CPN-UML senior leader and former Prime Minister Jhalnath Khanal, has said that the government was not willing to hold elections by plotting different pretext.
In an interaction organized by the Tribhuvan University Teachers' Association, Campus Committee here today, he ruled out the relevance of constitution amendment bill.
Leader Khanal blamed the government for its delay in announcing the date for elections adding that the country will indulge in political and constitutional crisis if the elections were not held within 11 months.
In another context, he warned of calling a nationwide protest by his party if the date for elections were not announced soon. RSS
