Contractors' associations of Nepal and Myanmar reach collaboration agreement

KATHMANDU, Aug 11: Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal (FCAN) and the Myanmar Licensed Contractors' Association have agreed to move ahead working together and enhancing bilateral relations. 


The officials of the contractors' associations of the two countries agreed to promote bilateral collaboration in a meeting between the Federation and the Association held at the FCAN Office here on Friday.

FCAN president Bishnu Bhai Shrestha expressed the belief that the collaboration agreement between the contractors' associations of the two countries would help both sides in carrying out public works with enhanced standard in the future. He also stressed on collaboration for exchange of construction technology between Nepal and Myanmar. 


International Department chief of Myanmar Licensed Contractors' Association, Ko Ko Lat, said the association attaches high priority to its relations with FCAN, expressing the belief the collaboration between the two associations would aid in taking a big leap in the construction industry in both countries.
