Construction of Nakkhu-Bhaisepati road section to be completed within mid-June: Minister Jwala

KATHMANDU, May 22: Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala has said that the work on the Nakkhu-Bhaisepati road section will be completed by mid-June.

He said this while talking to media persons after the ministry's team observed and inspected the road section on Monday.

He mentioned that now the construction work is being carried out smoothly and the residents of Nakkhu-Bhaisepati area will not have to suffer from dust pollution.

He also said that the road section will be paved within a week. He promised that he would not let the lack of coordination and facilitation because of the lack of coordination with the relevant agencies. He said that during the inspection, he had instructed them to complete the construction of the road as soon as possible.

Minister Jwala promised to coordinate with inter-ministerial agencies for the construction of roads and bridges across the country in the coming days.

He said that after the budget is approved, he will go to the field to solve the problems related to the ministry. Minister Jwala said that the work of filling potholes in Kathmandu valley has progressed rapidly and in the next year's budget, a road ambulance has been envisioned to fill potholes.
