Connect-IN to feature Nepali, Indian entrepreneurs

KATHMANDU, March 24: International Entrepreneurship Conclave Connect-IN, being organized by the Embassy of India in association with Clock b Business Innovations, will be held in Kathmandu on Saturday. According to a press statement issued by Clock b, the event has been receiving immense response from entrepreneurs, investors, incubators, consultants and start-up ecosystem players from both Nepal and India.  Finance Minister of Nepal, Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada has consented to be the chief guest. 

The statement added that seven chief executive officers and investors from India and eight from Nepal would be addressing the audience that would comprise of young entrepreneurs from both the countries.  Participants from India include Ritesh Agarwal (founder & chief executive officer of OYO Rooms), Ashutosh Tyagi (executive vice president and partner, Tata Capital Private Equity), Navin Surya (chairman of Payments Council of India), Ritu Marya (editor-in-chief, Entrepreneur Media), Kaushik Mukherjee (co-founder and managing director of FAB BAG), Avelo Roy (managing director of Kolkata Ventures), and Yatin K Thakur (co-founder of StartUp India & Coworkin). 

From Nepal, the speakers would be Siddhant Raj Pandey (chairman and chief executive officer of Business Oxygen), Narottam Aryal (executive director of King’s College), Sushil Pokharel (chief executive officer of Sushmit Group), Biswas Dhakal (president of F1Soft, FinTech), Subash Ghimire (editor-in-chief of Republica), Semanta Dahal (advocate and partner of Abhinawa Law Chambers), Sixit Bhatta (co-founder and chief executive officer of Tootle), and Amit Agrawal (chief executive officer of Janaki Technology).
