Condolence program to honor late artist Shanta Kumar Rai

KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) organized a condolence program to honor late artist/ academician Shantakumar Rai on Thursday at its premises, Naxal.

KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) organized a condolence program to honor late artist/ academician Shantakumar Rai on Thursday at its premises, Naxal.

Former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal, Former Deputy Prime Minsiter Bamdev Gautam, Former Minister Pradip Gyawali among others were present at the program as per the press statement released by NAFA.  


During the program Member Secretary of NAFA Nabaraj Bhatta expressed that with the death of the artist Nepal art fraternity has lost a very dedicated and creative artist as per the press statement. It added that his dead body was covered by Nepali flag and the last ritual was done at Pashupati Aryaghat on Friday.
