KATHMANDU, Sept 11: The Office of the Company Registrar has temporarily suspended online company registration services.
The service was suspended following a temporary interim order issued by the Supreme Court (SC) concerning the software used for the online registration system.

The office was in the process of implementing new software to transition company registration to an online process. However, a lawsuit was filed against the new software.
It is unclear when the service will resume. Earlier, the apex court issued an injunction on actions based on the office's decisions made on July 3, August 1, August 25, and September 1.
After the SC issued a short-term interim order instructing not to implement those decisions and notices, all online services have been halted.
