KATHMANDU, Nov 27: Nepal Communist Party has expressed sorrow over the demise of Cuba's communist leader Fidel Castro who died on Friday. He was 90.
In a statement issued by party general secretary Sharan Bikram Malla, the communist party expressed sadness over the loss of a revolutionary friend who launched a struggle against colonialism and stood up for independence, peace, equality and prosperity during his entire life.
The statement also paid heartfelt tributes to late Castro and extended condolences to Cuba, its people and the bereaved family members. Cuban people would follow the footsteps of Castro and move on by standing up against all forms of suppression and violence, the party said it believed. RSS
