KATHMANDU, May 4: Pushpa Kamal Dahal, chairperson of CPN Maoist Center shared that communist parties must unite "even if some might be left out".
Addressing the 200th death anniversary of Karl Marx at Yogambar Party Palace, Thapathali, Dahal shared that a unified communist party would bolster its hold in Nepali politics to deliver economic prosperity to the people. He added that following the successful completion of three tiers of elections last year had paved way for development where "youths were crucial in the country to achieve the goals of economic prosperity aimed by the government."
The CPN UML and MC are pinning their hopes to unify tomorrow, on the birthday of Karl Marx. The two parties, which struck a seven-point framework deal for merger on February 19, had initially announced to merge on April 10 and later postponed it due to differences.

With possible unification just a day ahead, chairperson of UML, KP Sharma Oli and Dahal are seen to appear closer after the former showed flexibility towards the demands of Dahal.
The Maoist Center has been demanding a dignified share in eight executive committees of the two sides and equal representation.
