KATHMANDU, Dec 1: General Secretary of the Nepali Congress (NC) Gagan Kumar Thapa has said collaboration with the private sector is necessary to resolve the problems facing the country's economy.
Speaking at a program organized today on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON), Thapa shared that the next government would collaborate with the private sector.
“The country's economy cannot run smoothly in such a situation," he said, adding that the next government would prioritize and carry out activities in collaboration with the private sector.
Thapa further mentioned that the support of the private sector is necessary to make the economy strong.
Similarly, CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bishnu Poudel stressed the need for the private sector to provide support to improve the country's economy.
"Errors,if any, in the privatization model should be corrected," he shared, adding that the right policy and leadership was necessary to make the country's economy dynamic.
