HETAUDA, June 3: State 3 Chief Minister Dormani Poudel has been admitted in a hospital for a regular health checkup. He was admitted to Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, Kathmandu, for his heart checkup.

Senior most member of the State assembly, Poudel has multiple ailments including high blood pressure and sugar. He is now staying in the hospital for a week. The 73-year-old CM had hectic schedules for 18 hours a day in recent days.

Earlier, he had undergone eye surgery at Hetauda Community Hospital.

CM's secretariat informed that specialist doctors were attending the ailing CM Poudel. Press Coordinator Prakash Dahal said his program schedule has been canceled for a week after the hospital admission.
