KATHMANDU, Sept 29: Clean notes can be exchanged for this year's Dashain starting today.
According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, (NRB), clean notes can be exchanged for this year's Dashain from today until October 8.

According to the NRB, the currency management department, banking department, and regional offices in Biratnagar, Janakpur, Birgunj, Pokhara, Siddharthanagar, Nepalgunj and Dhangadhi will be able to exchange clean notes.
The NRB has stated that arrangements have also been made to exchange clean notes at the branch offices of licensed banks and financial institutions.
As in the past, clean notes can be exchanged for up to Rs 18,500. A bundle of notes in denominations of Rs 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 can be exchanged.
