Clashes in Dolpa after dispute over voters’ list

BIRENDRANAGAR, Nov 20: Clashes have been reported at the polling station in Tripura Sundari Municipality-5. The dispute arose when a person went to cast his vote claiming that he had his name in the voter’s list but actually his name was not there.

BIRENDRANAGAR, Nov 20: Clashes have been reported at the polling station in Tripura Sundari Municipality-5. The dispute arose when a person went to cast his vote claiming that he had his name in the voter’s list but actually his name was not there.

As the dispute escalated, there was a clash between the workers of the political parties. Vednidhi Adhikari, Chief District Officer of Dolpa, said that although there was a minor clash outside the polling station, voting is going on.
