KATHMANDU, Sept 19: A deadly clash erupted in Tilottama, Rupandehi, resulting in the tragic death of a 25-year-old local resident, Suresh Syangtang, from Makwanpur, Hetauda.
Syangtang, who sustained severe injuries during the altercation between two groups, tragically succumbed to his injuries while en route to the hospital. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dan Bahadur Thapa, chief at the Butwal Area Police Office, confirmed this unfortunate incident.
DSP Thapa also reported that Bikas Waiba of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-1, along with Raju Tamang and Hasta Singh Tamang of Makwanpur, sustained injuries in the clash. They are currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.

According to DSP Thapa, the violent clash occurred among laborers engaged in constructing houses in the 9 Kewalanis area of Tilottama. Additionally, he stated that the confrontation emerged between two groups, both of whom were either working or dining at a local restaurant, coinciding with the Bishwakarma Puja celebration. The police have successfully recovered the knife believed to have been used in the incident.
Furthermore, Thapa disclosed that 13 individuals have been apprehended in connection with the incident. Investigations are now underway to determine their involvement in the fatal clash.
