KATHMANDU, Aug 21: Cadres of CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) protested and clashed with the police at Shanti Batika. The cadres were protesting against recent tax hike, inflation, domestic violence and increasing rape cases. There were no injuries.
CP Gajurel: Home Minister has lost his concise
“This government is heading towards a totalitarian regime and Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has lost his concise,” CP Gajurel, coordinator of the Patriotic Republican Front said. He slammed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s dream of bringing ship to Nepal via India. “When the PM has signed an agreement with India to build a dam, how can a ship travel upstream?” he questioned.
