KIRTIPUR, Feb 16: Chief Justice (CJ) Prakashman Singh Raut, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung, and CPN-UML vice chair Yuvaraj Gyawali have inquired about the health condition of Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel and Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya, who are undergoing treatment at Kirtipur Burn Hospital.
The CJ, Minister Gurung and Vice Chair Gyawali visited the hospital this afternoon to inquire about their health condition. The Minister of Communications and Information Technology was informed about the health condition and treatment process of Minister Paudel and Mayor Acharya by the doctors involved in the treatment, including the director of the hospital, Dr Kiran Kishore Nakarmi.
CJ Raut faces challenges ahead to restore public trust
After visiting injured leaders, Minister Gurung updated the media, stating that doctors reported the health of both leaders was improving.
DPM Paudel and Mayor Acharya were injured while releasing gas-filled balloons at the inaugural ceremony of Visit Pokhara Year on Saturday.
Both are being treated in intensive care units.
