KATHMANDU, April 21: Chief Justice Cholendra Sumsher Rana administered oath of office and secrecy to five newly-appointed justices at the Supreme Court on Sunday.
Amid a function held at the President’s Office, Rana administered oath of office and secrecy to Prakash Kumar Dhungana, Sushma Lata Mathema, Hari Phunyal, Kumar Regmi and Manoj Kumar Sharma.
On the same occasion, Rana administered oath of office and secrecy to newly-appointed Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Chandra Thapaliya. Meanwhile, National Inclusive Commission Chairman administered oath of office and secrecy to newly-appoint NIC member Bishnu Maya Ojha. The oath-taking ceremony of the five justices and commissioners was held at the presence of President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timalsina, Cabinet ministers, high-ranking government officials and among others attended the oath-taking ceremony.
